Tri-Star Technologies is at the forefront of automating the crimping process. Our crimpers range from handheld, FOD-safe devices, to automated machines capable of 2,000 crimps each hour. For high volume, low variability crimping needs, we have our “X” series – for shouldered, or shoulder-less contacts, a vibratory bowl system capable of crimping every 2 seconds. For our customers with lower volume, high variability needs we offer the PORTA-TAC: a revolutionary magazine system capable of “plug-and-play” to swap out contact in under a minute.
For crimps that require a more personal touch in hard-to-reach places, our CR-36 adapted to standard Daniels DMC toolset allows for a FOD-free crimp of 36 contacts. Never stop work to search for lost contacts again.
All our tools utilize indenters that meet the Mil-C-M22520 specification, and have built-in quality control.
